Quantros operates www.quantros.com and several web-based applications, collectively “Quantros Websites”. This Privacy Policy has been developed to inform visitors to Quantros Websites of our policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of any Personal Information that Quantros websites collect or receive.
Collected Information
Personally Identifiable Information: Quantros collects certain Sensitive Information in its normal course of business. Protected Health Information is collected from customers via secure data connections, including demographic information, admission and discharge data, diagnosis data, patient identifiers including but not limited to patient control number and medical record number.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information: Similar to other commercial web sites, Quantros utilizes standard technology called “cookies” and web server logs to collect information about how our web sites are used. Cookies are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a web site. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive. Information gathered through cookies and web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our web sites, and the web sites visited just before and just after our web site. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with a user as an individual. A user can disable cookies on their computer by indicating this in the preferences or options menus in their browser.
Use and Disclosure of Collected Information
We use Sensitive Information collected by Quantros Websites for statistical and analytical purposes. Specifically, we use this information to provide customers with Quantros’ products and services. Quantros has the appropriate legal documents in place with its customers and vendors regarding the collection, use, transmission and disposal of Sensitive Information. Sensitive information is only used and/or disclosed for business purposes.
Sensitive Information is retained only as long as necessary as may be required by law or contract to fulfill a valid business purpose.
Quantros may disclose information to third parties, including advertisers, investors and partners. All information disclosed to third parties is aggregated and/or de-identified such that the information does not contain any Sensitive Information.
Information Security
Quantros has implemented the appropriate technical and physical controls and personnel policies in order to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Sensitive Information. This includes limiting Workforce access to Sensitive Information to only those Workforce members whose responsibilities require access to Sensitive Information. All Workforce members receive training on all applicable Privacy and Security Policies.
Information Retention
Quantros is committed to maintaining Sensitive Information for only as long as law or business purposes require. We maintain a Data Destruction Policy to enforce the appropriate and timely disposal of Sensitive Information.
Privacy Protections for Children Using the Internet
Quantros Websites contain business-related content and are specifically aimed at and designed for adults. We do not knowingly solicit or collect Sensitive Information from or about individuals under the age of 13 other than from Quantros customers that provide such information as part of a Quantros product. If we discover that we have received Sensitive Information directly from an individual whom we believe to be under the age of 13 in some other manner, we will delete such information from our systems.
EU-US Privacy-Shield Framework Provisions
The EU-US Privacy-Shield Framework does not apply to Quantros.
