Quantros Meaningful Use
Demonstrating Meaningful Use with Quantros Regulatory Reporting Management (RRM)
Quantros has achieved certification for the Meaningful Use (MU) quality reporting initiative. You may view the certification listing here.
Quantros Regulatory Reporting Manager (RRM) Version 6* will conform to the HITECH Act portion of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The HITECH Act contains provisions that provide incentive payments for those healthcare organizations that adopt certified EHR technology and demonstrate MU. The EHR Modular certification for RRM v6.0 includes the 15 eMeasures in the following clinical categories:
- Venous Thromboembolism (VTE)
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Stroke (STK)
Meaningful Use: An opportunity
Meaningful Use (MU) technologies are carrying quality measurement to a crossroads. To comply with the HITECH Act, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is promoting a new “eMeasures” reporting approach. This will dramatically reshape how hospital quality managers report quality performance measures. The result: The capability for automated, seamless data submission to external entities is rapidly approaching.
Given this environment, acute-care organizations must prepare to include quality measure submissions into their overall EHR/MU strategy. Quality measures are one of the MU core objectives and warrant special attention because they overlap with incentive payments from CMS and major payers. There are many uncertainties in the new eMeasure process, and healthcare organizations seeking to reduce the risk in quality reporting require a partner and trusted adviser – one with proven experience in quality measure data collection, validation, reporting and submissions.
Quantros is your eMeasures Meaningful Use partner.
We’re committed to stay the course through all MU stages — that includes keeping pace with the evolution of new measure sets.
The Quantros difference
The Quantros RRM Certified Quality Modules will be optimized to meet the requirements of both Core Measures, and the CMS’ MU requirements. This is a critical differentiator: The National Hospital Inpatient Quality Measures is a separate program from the MU Quality Measures. However, our RRM solution will ensure you need only one vendor supporting your organization through the multi-agency quality measures reporting evolution.
