CMH Regional Health System Adopts Quantros for Event Management and Reporting
Quantros Software Supports Commitment to Saving Lives and Reducing Risk
September 22, 2009 - San Francisco, CA - CMH Regional Health System 95-bed, community hospital, in Wilmington, OH, announced it will use the Quantros Safety and Risk Management solution (SRM), an electronic self-reporting, event tracking, monitoring and workflow management tool designed to support a culture of safety and reduce risk.
The hospital selected Quantros, a leading provider of safety and quality software and professional services solutions for the healthcare industry, to especially focus on medication event capture and improvement. The organization cited the Quantros application’s user- friendly format, the reporting engine and cost effective pricing as key priorities in making the decision. In addition, Quantros staff provided technical support and education supporting CMH in preparing a grant application.
Cardinal Health Foundation awarded CMH a grant to support the acquisition of the Quantros SRM™ solution and the identification of how an online reporting system will help improve medication safety.
“As an organization dedicated to patient safety, we want to identify safety events in real-time and to immediately implement and monitor corrective action,” said Amy L. Donaldson RN, MSN, Performance Improvement Director. “This helps us investigate and fix the root causes of the events,” she added. “We need an easy way to enter events electronically and compile them quickly. With Quantros, we have that capability; the one page entry is very intuitive and easy to use.”
"CMH’s selection of Quantros SRM highlights the benefits of ease of entry, integrated data and workflow management and reporting, along with a team of clinical experts who support implementation and training." noted Chris Bethell, Vice President, Marketing and Product Development, Quantros, Inc. "We are pleased to have CMH select Quantros.”
